Pilum AB and 3nine AB have recently entered into a partnership agreement for innovative air cleaning, and as a result of this they have been awarded their first order for flue gas cleaning in Sweden. This project involves cleaning flue gases from a crematorium in southern Sweden which has been experiencing problems with earlier cyclone technology. The project will be completed by the New Year, and involves Pilum implementing 3nine technology in a new application.
This product, which is known as “Olga”, now forms part of Pilum’s unique solutions for smaller flue gas cleaning plants, and the partnership with 3nine is allowing Pilum to offer efficient solutions which replace traditional flue gas cleaning systems.

Now, at last, the authorities have the opportunity to demand efficient cleaning even from smaller plants which have previously found it difficult to resolve problems while keeping costs to a reasonable level,” says Jan Törner, CEO of Pilum AB.
Pilum has been awarded an exclusive agreement, offering 3nine’s unique air cleaning product to the energy market in the Nordic region. This product is based on separator technology and is both patented and trademark-protected. With Pilum’s condensing technology and knowledge of plants, it is believed that there is enormous market potential for this product.
The market in Sweden and the rest of the Nordic region is huge thanks to both current and future environmental demands in respect of smaller incineration plants and boilers, and is thought to include some 500-600 plants in Sweden alone.
