AMB 2026 brought a busy week for 3nine in Stuttgart, showcasing the new APEX series, building new connections and having conversations across the metalworking industry — and winning an AMB Award for VERA.
From September 15–19, 3nine welcomed visitors to Hall 8 in Stuttgart to discover the new APEX series and learn more about a different approach to oil mist management.
From oil mist collection to separation
At the heart of APEX is a simple idea: separate oil mist instead of simply collecting it.
3nine’s separation technology separates oil from the air, making it possible to recover valuable cutting fluid while reducing filter waste and maintenance.
During the week, visitors had the opportunity to see VERA and FREJA up close and talk with the 3nine team about challenges around oil mist, workplace air quality, maintenance and operating costs.
VERA wins the AMB Award
One of the biggest moments of the week came when VERA was announced as the winner of the AMB Award 2026 in the category Components, Assemblies and Operating Materials. The award recognises product innovations presented at AMB and highlights the work behind the new VERA oil mist separator and the APEX series.

A week of conversations and new connections
Beyond the technology on display, AMB was an opportunity to meet manufacturers, machine builders, partners and industry professionals from across Europe. The week was filled with discussions about cleaner production environments, cutting fluid recovery, maintenance and the cost of managing oil mist — as well as new connections and promising opportunities for collaboration.
