The Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences (IVA) organized for the second year the Smart Industry awards. The prize ceremony was held at the seminar “The digitalization for small and middle-sized companies – How is it really?” in Stockholm, Sweden. 3nine attended as one of five finalists.
“It is very nice that our hard work on developing our offer and our administration in recent years is getting the attention of the IVA organization. I am very proud of all colleagues who have contributed to our various projects, even when they have been busy with their regular work, “says Oskar Olai, CEO of 3nine.
Smart industry awards
For the Smart industry awards, there were more than 50 companies that advanced to a nomination. 3nine became one in five companies who got all the way to the final. The jury included Johan Weigelt, Chairman and vice CEO IVA, Monica Bellgran, Professor KTH, Hans Enocson, former Nordic chief for GE, Torbjörn Holmström, Senior Advisor to the CEO of Volvo Group, Danica Kragic Jensfelt, Professor KTH, Björn Langbeck, Industrial Expert at Tillväxtverket, Sara Mazur, Vice President and Head of Research at Ericsson, Mikael Rudin, Global Product Manager 800xA at ABB, Ulf Troedsson, CEO Siemens Nordic, Klas Wåhlberg, CEO of Teknikföretagen. They had a tough challenge to appoint the winner of the year as there was a very wide range of companies.
The purpose of Smart Industry’s competition is to draw attention to SME that are using technologies and resources in a smart and efficient manner to increase their productivity and competitiveness.
