REHOBOT Hydraulics

Trusting 3nine for Clean Air in Production

With over 100 years of manufacturing expertise, REHOBOT Hydraulics in Eskilstuna, Sweden, is a leading provider of high-quality hydraulic products for lifting, pressing, and pulling applications. Their commitment to quality and Swedish production standards extends to every part of their operations – including their choice of air cleaning solutions.

Founded in 1924, REHOBOT Hydraulics has a long tradition of innovation, starting with the production of jacks and their own castings. Today, the company specializes in hydraulic cylinders and systems, serving industries such as the automotive aftermarket and shipping services. With a workforce of around 50 employees and sales companies in both the UK and the US, REHOBOT has established itself as a strong player in the Nordic region and beyond.

All manufacturing, assembly, and testing are carried out in Sweden, using materials like steel, aluminum, and high-alloy stainless steel. Their production facility houses 18 Okuma lathes and milling machines, supported by sister company Stenbergs.

When it comes to air quality in the production hall, REHOBOT relies entirely on 3nine oil mist separators. Every machine in use is equipped with a 3nine unit – from 20-year-old Lina models to the newer Anna  and Nova units.

When we invest in a new machine from Stenbergs, 3nine is our first choice for oil mist separation. We know it works. The machines just do their job,

says Magnus Persson, Production Manager.

Their service technician, Magnus Wilhelmsson from MW Elteknik, oversees all Okuma machines and supporting equipment, including the 3nine units. As part of the regular annual service routine, he checks the filters, hoses, and rotor function. But maintenance needs are minimal.

It’s good gearFilters might need to be changed every two or three years, depending on the process. In most cases, there’s barely anything to do. The only exception is one older Blue Line unit without CIP, used for cast iron machining – that rotor gets cleaned about once a year.

says Magnus Wilhelmsson.

Another benefit he highlights is the flexibility: since the units are mounted directly on top of the machines, they move with the machines when rearranged – eliminating the need for complicated ducting or reinstallations.

By securing clean air in production, 3nine contributes to healthier working conditions, reduced environmental impact, and lower total cost of ownership – reinforcing REHOBOT’s commitment to sustainable, high-quality manufacturing.
